Aims and scope
Journal of Advanced Information Technology and Convergence (JAITC) is an international refereed journal, published in Republic of Korea. The objective of JAITC is to communicate important research and development results in the multi- and interdisciplinary areas of in the academic and industrial fields of information technology (IT) and the convergence of IT at various areas such as agriculture, construction, ship-building, supply chain management, energy and so on covering both theoretical foundations of IT and commercial, industrial, or educational aspects that provide new insights into design and implementation of IT-based systems.
Information Technology and Convergence typically unifies three distinct elements:
•
Modeling, Algorithms and Simulations (e.g. numerical and non-numerical, discrete and continuous);
•
Software developed to solve science (e.g., biological, physical, and social), engineering, medicine, and humanities problems;
•
Computer and information science that develops and optimizes the advanced circuit and system, signal processing, software engineering, database, networking, and data management components (e.g. problem solving environments).
JAITC also welcomes surveys papers that contribute to the understanding of emerging and important fields of information technology and its applications. In addition to wide-scope regular issues, JAITC also includes special issues covering specific topics in all areas of software and information systems.
JAITC publishes invited and regular papers in English. Papers that pass a strict reviewing procedure are accepted for publishing. JAITC is published biannually.
JAITC supports the Open Access policy of distribution of published manuscripts, ensuring 'free availability on the public Internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of published articles'.
